Permanent Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Conference (Comstech) This committee was established at the Third Islamic Conference of Heads of State and Government (1981) and its headquarters is in Islamabad. Comstech Facilities and Activities  Holding training workshops - financial assistance for holding workshops in member countries  Awarding various prizes to scientists from member countries, including Professor Firouzabadi from Shiraz University, who won the Comstech Chemistry Prize last year.  Providing Grants for the implementation of scientific projects and the establishment of various scientific networks in member countries. Currently, six networks have been established through the efforts of Comstech.  Contributing to the Khwarizmi Festival in the form of cash prizes and issuing certificates for the winners The National Reference of Comstech is the Research Institute of Science and Technology of Iran. www.comstech.org
