Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World The Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), as an affiliated institution of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), plays a significant role in deepening relations among Islamic countries and promoting scientific and research collaborations between universities of member states. This matter is also considered as one of the main strategies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Cooperation between universities of different countries in the vast Islamic world is organized through the FUIW and is directed and specialized according to the diversity of scientific fields. The University of Isfahan is a member of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World and, through active participation in the general assemblies of the Federation and international higher education conferences held annually in various countries with the presence of the presidents of member universities and accompanying delegations, is recognized as one of the important universities in the Islamic world.
