International Student Registration Process

Process for International Student Registration at Lorestan University Thank you for choosing Lorestan University for your studies. To begin the registration process, you can select your desired field of study from the available programs. After confirming the availability of your chosen program, you can follow the steps below to register. Step One: Registration in the SAORG System Your information must be entered into the SAORG system (Student Affairs Organization System of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology). By entering your information in this system, experts from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology can also review your documents. SAORG System Website: www.portal.saorg.ir Step Two: Information Review and Issuance of Study Permit After receiving and reviewing the information by the experts of the Scientific and International Cooperation Group of Lorestan University, a study permit will be issued for you. Having a study permit means that your information and documents have been approved, and you can study at Lorestan University. Step Three: Issuance of a Study Visa The request for issuing a study visa is sent through the Office of Scientific and International Cooperation. Once the visa is issued for you, you will be notified, and you can obtain your visa by visiting the embassies or consulates of Iran in your country. Step Four: Studying at Lorestan University In the final step, you can enter Iranian territory and attend Lorestan University, in accordance with the university's academic calendar, by having your study visa. Upon entering Khorramabad and Lorestan University, you will be welcomed, and the environment of the faculties and the university will be introduced to you. With the final acceptance confirmed by the Vice-Chancellor for Education, you officially become a student of Lorestan University. The only remaining task is the issuance of a one-year residency permit for you.
